Korf Vis – Family business with a passion for fish
Korf Vis is a family-owned company with a passion for fish as a product. The employees take great pride in their work. From the fishing vessels, the fish is cooled in ice water, sorted by weight, and immediately cooled again in ice water. The sorted fish is processed the same day according to the customer’s wishes and then packaged to the customer’s specifications. Because the fish is kept chilled continuously, it stays fresh longer and maintains excellent quality. The fresh process of handling and packaging fish is therefore in skilled and trusted hands with the team at Korf Vis.
Diepvries Urk – Three generations of freezing expertise
Diepvries Urk is also a family business with a history spanning three generations. They have been active in the fish industry since 1928 and have decades of experience in freezing fish. The employees are skilled and motivated, always striving for the highest quality. Diepvries Urk has a modern machinery setup and processes all fish from Ekofish Group into frozen products. At Diepvries Urk, the fresh fish is frozen to a temperature of minus 40 degrees Celsius, breaded or pre-fried if desired, and packaged according to the customer’s wishes.
