Ekofish Group wanted to transfer its knowledge of sustainable fishing to future generations. In 2009, the trawler PD 147 is converted into a training ship. The fishing boat can take up to eight students of fisheries programs on board. The ship is fitted with a double bridge (double controls and equipment). Pupils themselves are skipper next to our captain and learn about the practice of fisherman.
The PD 147 is as training ship one of its kind. Ekofish Group considers it important that future fishermen are given the opportunity to learn sustainable fishing practice. The training has a non profit character only the costs related to the students are covered. A responsibility for future generations of fisherman Ekofish Group gladly takes!
